This particular roof had reddish limestone shingles and the back side (North Facing) was covered in Gloeocapsa magma, an algae that forms when moisture caused by dew does not get enough sunlight to dry before algae forms. This algae feeds on the limestone on the shingles and ruins the curb appeal of your roof. We applied a bio degradable solution with low pressure to remove the algae and make the roof look new again. We also soft washed the gutters, soffit and facia that was covered in organic matter. This home is located in Cornelius NC.
